Amber Elison works across disciplines to mine the felt experience between presence and absence, legible and illegible, said and unsaid. Through multi-media performances, visual art and music, she explores the relationship of personal narrative, familial/social histories, fiction, and ancestral folklore. Often collaborating with dance and sound artists she seeks multi-sensory methods of experience.
